Rockstar released more than 26 minutes of GTA 6 in-game footage captured on PS5. It shows Jason and Lucia in missions and free-roam life, extensive interiors, robberies, police pursuits, combat, vehicles, activities, wildlife, phones and social content. Dazed's access preview separately reports a reactive Leonida and working feeds. PC, Online, crossplay, final performance modes, and many detailed system rules remain unannounced.
Rockstar's 26-minute-plus presentation is now live. Here is what the official PS5 footage and named developer quotations confirm, what the access preview reports, what the video merely shows, and what remains unannounced.

The footage moves through home life, travel, a stash-house raid, store and jewelry robberies, police escapes, nightlife, meetings, recreation, and a large office firefight. The dedicated GTA 6 gameplay guide organizes those systems, the missions and jobs guide maps the substantial sequences by timestamp, and the interiors guide separates mission-controlled spaces from any claim that every building is enterable.
Contextual prompts appear on doors, cover, objects, phones, vehicles, and exercise equipment. They demonstrate interaction at those moments; they do not establish universal interaction with every similar object in Leonida.
The activity montage covers basketball, fishing, scuba diving, kayaking, jet skis, airboats, workouts, a shooting range, racing, parachuting, nightlife, and more. See the evidence-labeled activities and mini-games list and the separate animals and wildlife guide for direct interaction versus background presence.
Dazed's access preview reports working social feeds and viral Real Dimez posts, while the video shows phone and social presentation. The phone and social-media guide covers the unknown app and posting rules; the music guide keeps confirmed songs and in-world music-business context separate.
Police vehicles, officers, a helicopter, wanted stars, passenger gunfire, a getaway-car change, and vehicle disposal appear in a multi-stage escape. The police and wanted-system guide does not promote the popular but unsupported six-star, witness-profile, or recognition theories.
Third-person gunplay, cover, melee, crouched movement, a suppressor, and focused aiming are visible. See combat, weapons, and stealth for the difference between stealth-compatible actions and an announced stealth system. The spoiler-light Jason and Lucia story guide covers the named developer quotations, reported independent play and choice repercussions without leaks.
Quick answers
Yes. Rockstar released it on August 27, 2026 and now hosts the official presentation on its GTA VI page and YouTube channel.
Rockstar says the presentation was captured entirely from in-game footage on PS5. It is edited rather than one continuous uncut play session.
No separate Online launch plan, multiplayer feature set, or crossplay support is announced in the reviewed Extended Look sources.
No. The footage is identified as PS5 capture, and Rockstar has not added a PC release to the official GTA VI platform information reviewed here.
Modified-looking cars and car-culture scenes are visible, but the base game's shop, upgrade, performance, and ownership systems are not explained. Edition-specific bonus shops are not evidence for a universal base-game feature.
