Working feeds are more than trailer decoration
The strongest evidence comes from Rockstar's developer interview, which calls the feeds working features and describes story information surfacing through them. Real Dimez can go viral in the game, tying the social layer to characters and world events.
That confirms an information-delivery function. It does not yet show whether every feed can be freely browsed at any moment or whether some posts appear only after story beats.
Phones, messages, and live video in the footage
Characters visibly hold and check phones, while on-screen message bubbles present conversations. Vertical videos, comments, reactions, usernames, and live-chat-style overlays connect street events to the in-world social layer.
